Kristy Rancourt, LCSW

Kristy Rancourt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University. She has worked in both hospital and private practice settings, where she has developed strong clinical expertise working with adolescents, adults, and their families.
Kristy previously served as both a primary clinician and the leader of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Intensive Outpatient Program at Silver Hill Hospital. In this role, she worked extensively with individuals presenting with complex and high-acuity concerns, including life-threatening behaviors. She is highly skilled in managing challenging clinical cases and brings a thoughtful, grounded presence to her work.
Kristy’s therapeutic style is both direct and deeply compassionate. She values getting to know each client as a whole person and recognizes the unique backgrounds, strengths, and needs that each individual brings to treatment. She has extensive experience supporting clients struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, personality disorders, self-harm behaviors, behavioral challenges, and substance misuse.
With empathy and a strong client-centered focus, Kristy works collaboratively with clients to build practical coping strategies, set attainable goals, and foster a sense of hope and confidence in their future. Kristy is excited to bring her passion and expertise to her work at The Wise Mind Collective and looks forward to empowering clients in their work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
